Just picked up the fabulous Roy Orbison 4 disc box set ($25 at Costco). It's got 100 or so songs, lotsa rarities. But, there's a demo of Claudette, but not the finished recording (used to nice effect in Oliver Stone's W.), and do we REALLY need THREE versions of Oh, Pretty Woman?! (And ZERO versions of The Comedians?) On the plus side, his collaboration with Glen Danzig: Life Fades Away (from Less Than Zero) & a sweet booklet (and postcards of Roy's illustrations from his high school yearbook. Music was a better choice).
