I think for my life I would have to go with comedy with some supernatural parts thrown in. Here are some popular genres that you can think about: Action, Myth, Fantasy, Satire, Black Comedy, Student Film, Sci Fi, Horror, Travelling Angel or Devil, Detective, Thriller, Crime, Romantic comedy, Drama.

What is 'Traveling Angel or Devil'?

A traveling angel would be a movie like It's A Wonderful Life or the Highway To Heaven show. The angel is usually perfect and does not change but the community or system changes. A traveling devil movie would be a move like The Witches Of Eastwick. Just that instead of an angel it is a devil bringing the change in the community although it may be a positive change. The devil does not usually change either but he or she is more likely to go through some sort of change than a traveling angel. In a way J.D. in the movie Heathers in a traveling devil also a rebel. Ferris Buller would be a traveling angel in a way and so would Mary Poppins so it does not have to be an actual angel or devil, just how the story is structured.

At times, teen comedy. Though without the added benefit of Tine Fey or Amy Heckerling. Boo. Most of the time, a teen coming-of-age film in that extra special John Hughes way. Proving that once again, even at work, I cannot avoid the drama of others.
