Have you all seen this creepy commercial?

They show people wearing this "robe blanket with arms thingy" to baseball games, picnics, etc.  It looks like something you would don for a ritual satanic sacrifice LOL.  If you haven't, you will crack up when you see where these people are wearing Snuggies in public.

Haha, I have not seen the commercial but I bought one of these thingies a few years ago for my sister when her 'hood was subject to frequent black-outs and I thought it would be useful on cold So-Cal nights sans furnace.  I've gotta check out the commercial.  Ordered mine through a catalog.

There's also a brand called a Slanket...same thing. One of my friends got one for Christmas and adores it. He has taken to putting it on right after a shower with nothing else underneath and then just laying around the house in it. It's kind of disconcerting. If I were his roommate, I'd be annoyed.

Would it creep any of you out if I was cleaning your residence with a Shamwow wearing a Snuggie?

- I gotta find a way to work this out, I love that apartment. It's so cozy, I'm ensconced in velvet. You know, if it were socially acceptable--
- I know, you would drape yourself in velvet.
- I've said that before?
- Many times. You love velvet, you want to live in velvet, everything with the velvet.

James Hurley loves him some "fruit punch".

Great commercial but I notice there don't seem to be any rear views.  Do you suppose it hooks up like a hospital gown?  And what about that walking around business?  I need a diagram, I guess.  Can't tell how it's better than a blankie.

Susan

PS  No I don't remember the actual configuration of the one I bought my sis.  Not sure I ever took it out of the bag.  Doubt that she did either.

You could wear the backwards robe to the campfire like in the commercial and roast weenies.

Funny! My mother bought me one for Christmas a couple of years ago. In red. Had no idea what they were called.

It IS cozy, in fact. and puts me in the mood to slaughter kittens when I'm brooding around my apartment in the candlelight.

Yup, and on the wedgie page there is a link for a similar topic cameltoe.

All of which should go on the package design.  And Booth's photo about "leaving your hands free."

Amanda and Jared ought to give some thought to an Edgewick Snuggie Party at this year's Twin Peaks Fest.
