OT: Only underwater for so long as my breath held out.  Fun and enjoyable, or so the reaction implied, but not viable in the long term.

It's interesting how a sex or nudity thread fills up at about four times the rate of any other type.  Reminds me of an early (good) MASH episode where one nurse asked another, regarding Hawkeye, 'What's all this preoccupation with sex?' reply 'Lack of occupation with sex.'  Of course that's probably just me projecting.

Absolutely true. I've been bent into all sorts of strange positions in the crawl spaces of those wooden playgrounds. Watch out for splinters!  (I think we need a sex-related injuries thread.)  

True dat. I've had a number of public encounters like that. Most of the time I was high, drunk, or both. But I would have done it all sober as well, so. Though it was sex in clubs that introduced me to the joys of being coked up and having hot quickie sex. Hrm.

And to address the earlier question about water sex...that's great because you get more friction from the presence of the water (since it's not lubricating and tends to wash away a lot of your natural lube, you get more of a rub effect). Have to be up against the side of the pool though, i've found. Otherwise you're just two naked flailing assholes.

I would take a hike to a nice vista and have sex ( with a partner) outside. It was OK- is it ever not? But the view, the beautiful milieux, may have actually taken some intensity from the act itself. That's just me.

Now a laundromat -with open doors lending a partial outdoors feel was top notch. Well, we had some time on the vibrating dryer and that chance of someone walking in did add a thrill.
