Did anyone else see this- NBC 2-night made-for-TV movie?  Pretty much a Da Vinci Code rip-off. Opening night of the Vatican art exhibition gets raided by 4 knights on horses, the Templar Decoder gets stolen.  Famous free-wheeling archeologist turned single mom Mira Sorvino gets involved in the hunt for the templar treasure.  Others are after the treasure as well and will stop at nothing to get it.  Mira has the help of a handsome yet buttoned-up devout catholic FBI agent.

I can't tell if it was completely horrible or just partly.  No emmy for Ms. Sorvino, that's for sure.  The plot was predictable, there were characters who were introduced then served no useful purpose.  Not very convincing dialog.  Templar flashbacks of about the same quality as a bad PBS simulation...

The phrase "Da Vinci Code ripoff" keeps me within a 500 mile radius of that bad boy.

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

I was on the phone during the first night of it and didn't bother with the second night.  I thought it was pretty lame.
