Oh, how it pains me to misspell.

But have you had a chance to watch this very weird Quentin Tarantino trailer with a very weird Brad Pitt?  I kept looking at that guy thinking he LOOKED a little like Brad Pitt but the voice was all wrong.  And the accent.  Other cast members include Eli Roth and Mike Myers?!?!

We'll have to wait until summer to see the final product though if you're in the French Riviera in May you may catch the Cannes screening.

Oh, dear, I just don't know about this one.

Will it feature an exciting car scene where the basterds chase Klaus Barbie's pink convertible?

There goes Barbie now!

But seriously, does that look like a decent movie???  I know it's not a film, because Oliver Stone, who knows the difference, once told QT that he (QT) made 'movies' not 'films'.  I mean, what is the deal with Quentin Tarantino these days?  (confessing that I've never watched the two Kill Bills)  Is there something to the fact that he dropped out of high school in the 9th grade?

Reservoir Dogs - one of the most overrated debuts ever.
Pulp Fiction - Pretty good, but relies too much on being cool. Can't stand Travolta or Jackson.
Jackie Brown - His best movie.
Kill Bill - the second is better than the first.
Death Proof - good god it's shit.

Hmmm...I will wait until it's at the discount theater and go see it on a Tuesday when it's only a dollar.  I used to be big into QT when I was in high school but I grew up.

I love war films, especially about WWII, but I don't buy this one.  May have something to do with the fact that the only role I really liked Brad Pitt in was Fight Club...  I refused to see the one with Tom Cruise starring in it. These movies rely on the stars' names and not the actual movie. Sounds like QT is trying to cash in on the latest craze of WWII flicks...

EDIT: Anyone have comments on that Daniel Craig movie Defiance?  That's one that I actually want to see.

The soldiers in the film were supposed to be Madsen, Eddie Murphy, Stallone, and Sandler. I guess Quinten didn't get all the money he wanted.
