You would never be able to tell that from the media who kisses his feet.

Wow, I thought the right wing was getting past blaming the media for all their problems and taking some personal responsibility for why they lost. Ironically most people I know who blame the media for everything get their daily news from Rush Limbaugh.

I hear the reps put together a committee to try and change their image. My bet is they will use the media in this somehow. My hope is that they someday will again practice what they preach, core republican values of less government, fiscal responsibility, states rights, and keeping government out of peoples lives. I doubt it, its far less work for most to just blame the media and keep the status quo.

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

Welcome Back, Carter? lol

I like the Top 10 Military Slogans shirt:

10. We don't like collateral damage, but it helps to stay the %$#* out of our way.

9. Total destruction in 30 minutes or the next one is free

8. Often mistaken for wrath of God.

7. We kill foreigners so you don't have to.

6. If everything is exploding around you, that's probably us.

5. Dictator got you down? Ask about our new "regime change" policy.

4. Just point at what you want dead.

3. Trying to win the hearts and minds, but willing to splatter them if necessary.

2. When it absolutely positively has to be destroyed overnight.

1. We're from the governement, and we're here to kill you.

Let's quote those stats fairly:  Gallup has Obama 6% below where they had Bush at the same point in Bush's first term.

Top news stories of April 2001 according to wikipedia:

- US surveillance plane collides with Chinese fighter jet over the South China Sea

- Slobodan Milosevic surrenders

- Same-sex marriage legalized in Netherlands

- Cincinnati cops kill a black man; riots ensue

Here's hoping Obama survives long enough to compare his approval rating to Bush in late 2016 -- that'll be more telling in my view...

Okay, I grant that the "Welcome back, Carter" shirt is the new "Sore Loserman" -- conservatism's once-per-decade success at political humor.

What?  No Chandra Levy story in the April 2001 mix? Oh.  That's because she went missing May 1, 2001.  Never mind.
