anyone want a cool spring break weekened, be warned, esp. in Texas. looks like ya kids can't enjoy spring break.just be very careful if ya wanna enjoy your spring break. all I am saying is a have a great time & don't bump up to anyone that deals with drugs, just have a good time.

Rebel is referring to an increase in violence along with US/Mexican border. In one Mexican border town, the mayor moved over into TX because the violence is so bad.

just wondering, is it just the outskirts, or is it toward like cancun area. this is very scarey, did ya read up on the kids that travelled road way, & they were tied up and stabbed to death?

I know we have spoken about it Rebs, but adivice from anyone is most welcome. I will be heading out to Brownsville Tx real soon to work, should I keep my head down, never go out or try and tell my company to send somone else....hee hee...seriously is the place ok? I have been in some s**Tholes all over the worl, including Nigeria, but surely it is better than that? Hope we can arrange the meet Rebs when I get out there

just wonderin, Jordan have ya ever been out that way? I haven't. but did travel to port aransas, galveston, & corpus christi. yes. years ago. was stung by a jellyfish in port aransas, OUCH!!!!

I haven't been to Brownsville, but it's probably no worse than other places around the US. :-) I haven't heard of a lot of issues as of late down there so things may have settled down.
