We Built This City on Rock and Roll.  Vh1 proclaimed it the worst song ever and I must say that I agree.

Some others that come to mind- Heartbeat/Don Johnson, My Girl Wants to Party All The Time/Eddie Murphy.  Actors, stick to what you know.

He Shoots, He Scores!!!!!  Excellent Call.  Add Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi

QUOTE:3 way tie, STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN, BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY and THE WALL.

How can you diss Bohemian Rhapsody and The Wall?  Are you being ironic or something?  I do hate Stairway though.  I will add Freebird to the list.  Kill me now.

Wouldn't it be great if someone invented targeted booze that would only destroy the brain cells you wanted it to?

Oh Boy... I see a recession-proof opportunity here, man! Worst songs? Leonard Nimoy's album during the Star Trek show run. Absolute garbage. Anything on 'Two Virgins' by John and Yoko. (I have an original double-sleeved LP with the nudie picture, if anyone is interested...). Anything by 'Savatage'. Damn... this could take hours. Think I'll sign off and drink a bit to forget...

Hold on, Nimoy is a great interpreter. Hearing him sing "If I had a haaammer, I'd haaammer in the morning..." is up there with Karma Chameleon as an instant cure for a bad mood in my book. I also enjoy his rendition of If I Were a Carpenter. He's no Shatner, I'll grant you that much, but we all of us live in the sonic shaddow of that great man.

But Big Daddy did a FABULOUS twist-style version of S.D., so is it the singer or the song?

Combo of singer, song, the stupid goddamn video and associated memories of my life at the time.  It would be nice to hear a version that would co-opt it out of the garbage area of my brain.

I cannot listen to that song at all.  It's the absolute worst.

Anything by Scouting For Girls.

That is, of course, any song. Not a song named "Anything".

Help me out here - the song goes something like this -

"I don't wanna work, I just wanna bang on these drums all day..."

I would rather be a cutter and take a lemon juice bath than be subjected to this feces again.

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

Bang The Drum: Todd Rundgren. Again, not his best work, but a "worst" selection...?
