QUOTE:Gremlins 2.  I did not like it at all.  I would like to see another Gremlins movie, like Gremlins in the hood or something like that.
Gremlins 2 is better than the first one, because it knows what it's going for.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned, but I saw a preview today on a local channel for : Mannequin 2:On The Move.  I laughed my ass off, I almost forgot about the first one.

Ben:  "We've laid in a gala reception for your fair-haired boys tonight.  All of Twin Peaks' best and brightest."

Jerry: "We're holding it in a phone booth?"

I thought it lacked the integrity of the original.

Couldn't agree more!  Especially since the first one was based on a true story, and Kim Catrell won an Oscar for best actress.  I believe it also one several technical awards.

alien 3 wasn't terrible for what it was. if it had a more singular vision (as it, wasn't so blatantly written by committee) it could've been really special. i really liked the designs, the music, the direction, the acting...it had all the pieces of a good movie but just never quite "gelled."

alien ressurection on the other hand.....uhhhh.....well, at least it had brad dourif!

Children of the Corn sequels - I estimate there are about 7 of them and I don't know how they were popular to begin with.  After they squeezed an original film out of the 20 page Stephen King short story, I guess writers found untapped potential in the ever expanding COTC universe, canon, mythos.

*ditto for Leprechaun

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

I actually read the Children Of The Corn story last week.  I have never read it before and I liked it better than the movie.  I have only seen the first one.  I liked the first one a lot when I was a kid.  I have not seen it in years so I don't know how I would feel about it now.  I also watched Evil Dead 2 the other night and I still enjoyed it as much as I did when it use to come on HBO.
