These can be both funny and serious.

The first thing that comes to my mind is The Matrix.  The original is a classic and the next two absolutely sucked.  They should have just left it at the original, but you know what happens when there is potential money to be made.

Good topic.

First of all, the last 3 Star Wars films.  They might have been better if Lucas didn't let computer technology take over, but he did - so, you know the result.  Here's a few more:

Caddyshack 2

Grease 2

All the Police Academys

All the Saw sequels

Revenge of the Nerds 2

Ben:  "We've laid in a gala reception for your fair-haired boys tonight.  All of Twin Peaks' best and brightest."

Jerry: "We're holding it in a phone booth?"

Jaws 4 The Revenge - The shark followed them from New Jersey to Jamaica?!?!?!

In addition to just flat out bad sequels, I'm also referring to when you see a preview for a movie sequel and you're thinking how in the effing way did THAT movie get a nod for a sequel?  That movie actually has an audience for a sequel?  WTF?

The sequels to Psycho.  WTF

Any of the ongoing horror sagas.  I don't need 10 movie of the killer's dead, oh no he's not.

Next Friday, The Friday After That, whatever they are.  What the hell has happened to Ice Cube?  How do you go from NWA to making cheesy family friendly movies about babysitting?

I actually think that The Matrix Reloaded is about 75% of a great movie. Unfortunately, the other 25% is utter crap.

Pitch Black was an unexpectedly good movie, a really pleasant surprise. i only made it about a half an hour through The Chronicles Of Riddick. Bad, bad, bad...

Weekend at Bernies - that movie flat-out sucked.  I don't think I even made it all the way through the first one.

Porky's - pure crap!  How many of those things did they make?

American Pie - Am I the only one who doesnt think bonin' a pie is funny?

Austin Powers - Mike Myers never should have left SNL.  His movie career has been horrible.  I guess the first Wayne's World was ok though.

I gotta admit, I thought it was pretty funny.

typical action movie trash with sophomoric "philosophy" undertones thrown in for 17-year-old pseudointellectuals

plus asking me to believe that the machines would use people as batteries instead of gee, i don't know, nuclear power? or, let's just say you HAVE to use human brains for power for some reason-- lop their fucking arms and legs off at birth so they can't rise up and defeat you!

i saw the matrix at a sneak preview 2 weeks before it opened, this is not some kind of reacation to its popularity, i've hated that stupid thing before 99% of people even saw it

My choice is HIGHLANDER II. I loved the first film and I went to the cinema really hoping for something...at least...decent... What I found was crappiness and stupidity in large proportions...

is that even good for hilarity value, because it sounds like a riot whenever i read anything about it.

Well, Nefud, I was bored to death... But I guess it depends what your approach to the piece of crap is, I recently saw TROLL 2 that way and yeah, I had some fun...

See it for yourself, the Sean Connery scenes are so ridiculous and dumb you won't believe it's him and there's a plot twist regarding the inmortals that I still can't believe they actually did it... I heard there was a director's cut or extended/redux/whatever that doesn't stink so much, but frankly, I don't believe it...
