This is a devil worshipping site. I am the lone lantern in the darkness. I went to church yesterday.
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this." -Dale Cooper

It rained all day yesterday in Seattle. My sole day off, I did necessary things, like laundry, cleaning, shopping, then went to a readthrough of 4 Strange Loves, a new play I'll be doing in June...

I worked at my new job. Then I went over to my mother's senior community for a yummy brunch followed by a horrendous Elvis impersonator (I had hoped it would be your friend, Chris) and his cohort, a Marilyn impersonator. Here's a photo of my sis and her husband with the (un)talented duo. That's not all! Late last night (which is actually early this morning) I was awakened by Lola's barking hysterically. Her barking alerted me to an even louder sound -- a police helicopter hovering low over our house with its beam shining down. I thought it would land on our roof. It was so loud. I started to have unpleasant flashbacks to my days in 'Nam. After about a half hour of being roused into complete wakefulness we called 911. They said there had been a break-in on our street and the police were trying to apprehend the perp. He suggested we keep our doors and windows locked and that if we needed to be evacuated the police would come to our door and let us know. I do not know what transpired but after an hour, the chopper flew away and I got a few hours of sleep. It caused me to contemplate what it must be like to ply such a trade as burglar. You probably sleep all day and then get up, get dressed and get into character. Doesn't it seem so weird to think about driving to a given location, breaking in and grabbing whatever you can get your hands on?
That was my Easter.
