What actors do you know star in about 50 movies a year and just about every one of them is some formulaic safe corporate piece of crap?

My first nominee is Nicolas Cage.  Also Ben Affleck.  Vin Diesel.  Brendan Fraser. 

PS - It doesn't mean every movie they have ever been in is crap.

I like to call these adorable films "paycheck" movies.

Another is Samuel L. Jackson.  Snakes on a Plane? Deep Blue Sea?  WTF?

Pretty certain Ben Kingsley - aka "Sir Ben, dammit!" - reads the zeros long before the script.  But he does mix it up a lot, at least.

Definitely Nic Cage, I'm getting the sense has lost any quality filters he may have had.  You could have named the thread for him if Sam Jackson didn't exist.  (Yet I love Sam anyway, because you gotta.)

I'm tryin' to spread the love to the ladies, but in leading roles they don't seem to get the same default path to overpaid glory that some of the chaps benefit from...  (And supporting roles don't count for me in this category, it's easy to do a bad run of those...)
