For the 2003 fatal shooting of a 40-yr-old B actress he had met and taken home that night.

I watched the jury fore-woman weeping on tv this morning as she described the difficulty in coming to a verdict in this most challenging of murder trials.

This could be a turning point in the jury by peer for Los Angeles when something as cut and dry should be difficult and require two trials for a murder 2 conviction.

I'm embarrassed to be in the same jury pool.

 Missing the point, as usual.

PS  As a point of clarification, the spokesperson for the DA's office said today that she couldn't remember another murder conviction for a celebrity in Los Angeles prior to this one for 40 years.

Phil Spector's Booking Shot

Following his conviction on second-degree murder charges in a Los Angeles court, music producer Phil Spector was immediately taken into custody. TMZ obtained his mug shot; click through for a larger version.

Spector's hair is obviously shorter than it used to be (compare mug shot, above, to second picture, below). It's also probably much closer to prison regulation.

Sentencing is May 29.

The other man in the picture is George Brand, the guy in charge of protecting Spector from others, others from Spector, and Spector from himself.
