just wondering if anyone seen a bad accident? I did bit, afterwards, I heard a car crash. some kid hit a lightpole. I ran up to help, the 1st thing he did was got outta his small truck, he was walkin around all bloody, I noticed he was bleeding from his nose. there other people around I yelled call 911, I did not have a cellphone, I told them to sit him down, in shade, and I ran across to get help, the thing to get help here was complicated, denton county or tarrant county. which the callers were dealing with. this is what ticks me off about what county. just very complicated.

When he was 18, my son fell asleep at the wheel & plowed into a parked car. The other car was relatively undamaged (as was he), but his vehicle was totalled. And I prefer the term "collision" to the misleading "accident", which denies possible intent (not every collision is accidental). As a cabdriver, I had my throat razor-slashed. My mother still refers to it as an "accident"... MOM?!

I was unfortunate enough to have totaled my car twice. The first one was totally my fault, it was back when I was drinking, and I fell asleep behind the wheel. The second time was when i was already a year sober, and some asshole in a SUV took a turn into my little Toyota. Thankfully both times the airbag and seatbelt saved my life! Also , when I was in college, I got hit by a car when I was walking across the street, thank God i was drunk at the time, which saved me from going into shock or coma.

There's going to be a bad accident when I find out who's been on my porch trying to look through my blinds and leaving fingerprints on the glass and they have to start breathing through their forehead, like Frank Booth at the end of Blue Velvet.

The first time I brought my car up to college, I lost control on some black ice and flipped it. Luckily I was not hurt at all, but it is a bad way to learn what black ice is. What extra-sucked was that i was only about 30 min from school on a 12 hour ride, that and the a-hole small town cops gave me a ticket. Also had a lucky escape when a lady came around a corner in my lane and two bad things almost happened- her jacked-up suv almost went through my windshield but managed to glance off the frame, and the impact came within a few inches of pushing me down a 30' embankment.
I've driven past several highway traffic fatalities- watching emergency workers cut open horribly mangled vehciles, or seeing a downed motorcycle and then 50' farther up the road seeing a body wedged under a car. enough to ruin your day. Probably the most vivid memory i had though was at a metro station in Alexandria, VA, looking down at the parking lot. Some guy started up his car and somehow his accelerator got stuck. He raced around the parking lot trying to dodge cars, and eventually plowed directly into the passenger side of another car. A woman was in the second car waiting to pick up her husband, and he emerged from the station about a minute after the accident. She collapsed in his arms in tears when he got over to the cars. Watching all this from above, it was really surreal- I've invented stories for all of them in my head.

Tee hee he, that's funny, bro, but chicks actually pursue me. I am the hunted.

I have seen some accidents, but I am not sure how serious they were. There was the accident I was in where my car was destroyed. I witnessed three robberies and three murders but it had nothing to do with cars. One robbery was when I was in a gas station and I had a bad vibe. The cashier seemed really nervous. I calmly made my purchase and walked out. I then called the cops. I felt weird because I was only going on a vibe. The cops said I was correct and that someone else had just called them about the same gas station and they were on their way. The other robberies were at the same gas station. It gets hit all of the time. I would hate to work there. The first murder I saw was when I was driving down the road one night and I saw a car at an ATM. It was a really rough neighborhood. The guy was slouched to the side. I did not think much about it, because I was driving down the road, but the image stayed with me. The next day I turned on the news and it was the same car and guy. He had been shot at the ATM! That was when I learned that he was murdered. The next murder I was was when I was doing ministry work in New York City. I was walking down the streets and some people were yelling in the streets. A cop was trying to calm them down. A window opened and a guy shot the cop right in the face. That one kind of shook me up because the cop was right next to me. The last one I was not sure if it was a murder or not because it happened on the same streets on the same night. It was a knife fight. That was a wild night and the first time I visited New York.
