Cat Stevens that is, he was suppose to play on the Jimmy Fallon show last night, what happened?

was it because of Coldplay? I heard something that is some dispute about his album, Foreighner Suite, that coldplay had some kind of thang, stealing his music maybe from that album?, didn't catch the whole story. Just wondering what happened, & yes, I know some of Cat Stevens albums were burned years ago.  but he has a new name and a couple of cds out, well I dunno how many, but, I think his voice is very genuine, love his older works.
