Shawshank Redemption and Green Mile were filmed at the Ohio State Reformitory. Its an old prison that was shut down when they built the bigger, more up to date one next to it. Well, it's haunted. Ghost Hunters did a show where they went thru it and Scariest Places on Earth had it on there as well. Last Halloween, me and a bunch of friends went thru it. Let me tell ya, its f'in creepy! They do ghost hunts where you can spend the night and I would like to do that...

I'd have to say where the movie Shane was filmed....I'm sure it's close to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
