Surveillance is on TV already? What did everyone think of it? I was fortunate enough to meet Bill Pullman last year when the film played at a film festival that takes place in my home town, called the Galway Film Fleadh. He was a bang on guy, very nice, and very enthusuatic strangely. Of course the Q & A decended into David Lynch madness so I felt like a bit of a dick when I asked a Lynch related question. I asked him what were differences between working with David and Jennifer. He gave me a description of David I'll never forget: "With David his direction is unusual cause he'll say "You are walking down a corridor....and....ITS FREAKY!" My friend who accompanied me, asked him how managed to pull off the speech from Independence Day without vomiting, much to the hilarity of Bill.

Some of the cable channels have started to give subscribers sneak peeks at movies right before they come out. There was a movie a couple of weeks ago with Malkovich that was about to be released in the theaters - same with Surveillance. Kelly and I saw that a hotel's PPV was showing Surveillance also just a month or so ago.

Amazon link for Surveillance DVD
Surveillance for pre-order on Amazon already! That's funny, Outlaw! Pullman volunteered his opinion on the ID speech at the Denver Film Festival, too. He rolled his eyes, said someone wrote it fast. Corny melodrama blah . LOL. Pullman is a hero of mine! (Jordan Edit - redid the link)

I've been told this is definitely a film to look out for, with an ending that will blow your mind. What else could I expect from the daughter of David Lynch?

semi spoiler alert regarding the ending - the DVD is supposed to contain a "happy" ending also. In interviews, Jen mentions that her dad made a comment about how you can't let evil win. So she made a good ending but ended up not using.

Watched this weekend and loved it. It was so much more fun the second time around. The story is easy to follow, its not Inland Empire so feel free to enjoy it.
