I remember Farrah first from an UltraBrite toothpaste commercial in the early 1970s. She had class A teeth and a magnificent sunny smile. Strikingly beautiful girl. It's not often you learn the name of a commercial model but she was unmistakably one of the most remarkably gorgeous woman at that time.
She was the occupant of my apartment in Beverly Hills Adjacent (that's an area outside of Bev Hills technically known as Los Angeles but referred to as BH Adjacent by aspirants to loftier geography) before I moved in. I used to get bills there from her dentist. Always liked Farrah. But that's not all. Once on a flight to Texas, we sat next to her dad who had a great sweep of blond hair himself. He was a sweetheart of a man -- very kind to a little Josh who was also on the flight. She was one beautiful woman and a real icon. A sweet lady. Very sad story. I hope her son gets it together now. I know nothing of Farrah or Charlie's Angels, but heard a lot about her at the autograph show I just worked at. I was taking money for Shelley Hack. I had no idea what a gay fanbase the show had! Man, what a pop culture phenomenon.
