Part of what makes it so funny is the way he delivers it. Nobody could deliver a line quite like Jack Nance. "Grand theft Awww-toe!"

My favorite line was when Agent Rosenfeld says "I'm worried about COOP" in the voice of Gordon Cole. Every time I get to that episode I rewind that line and laugh hysterically for about 10 minutes over and over.

not a line, but funny moment- the swimsuit models walking past, with Ben's flirtations....plus when Ben is having his dinner with 'catherine' and his look when Leland sings Getting to Know You...priceless

Best Pete line ever. Aside from the fish in the percolator. I also love how he called Catherine 'poodle' all the time. She sorta *did* resemble a poodle, especially in the pilot.
