It was a super awesome time even if the weather was rainy on Friday and boiling hot the other 2 days.  Favorite shows- Depeche Mode, The YeahYeahYeahs, Jane's Addiction, Lou Reed, Arctic Monkeys.  Discovered some new bands- Hey Champ, Amazing Baby, Passion Pit.  The music was great with a wide variety of styles to suit any taste.  Perry's Stage with the DJs was a hell of a dance party.  Biggest suprise was when Joe Perry came out to join Jane's on guitar for Jane Says.  Also a guy proposed to his girlfriend on stage at the end of the Jane's show.  Now that's what I call romantic.  I am bummed that I didn't see Santigold.  The crowd for that show was just way too oppressive.  Snoop was meh and there were a bunch of dumb kids there so we went to catch the second half of Lou Reed's set.  Perry kinda sucked it for Ted Just Admit It.  Oh, Eric Avery was back playing bass for Jane's for the first time in 20 years!  Other great stuff- Kaiser Chiefs, Ben Harper, Band of Horses, Peter Bjorn and John, April Smith, The Virgins, Of Montreal.  I only wish that many times I could have been in 2 places at once.
