You know how pleased I am for you, love.  You, Lars and your little bump deserve all the happiness in the world.  Woo!

Ah, no, only at the airport, Copenhagen, once. But those few danish people I´ve met have been really easy-going and careless, and I mean that in a good, healthy way. We swedes have, generally speaking, a much darker aura around and withins us... and my mum is from Finland, and they´re even darker, lol. That´s why so many people love alcohol in this countries, kind of pathetic and sad actually, IMO.

My best friend lives in Helsingborg, not fare from Helsingör and she says she gets happy everytime people from Denmark comes into her store, so I believe it´s a general consensus that you people have good social skills. The Jamaicans and the track-and-field, the danish and social behaviour

But I´m sure you guys have some dark characteristics too, I mean look at this guy Lars Ulrich, he´s fun, but sure ain´t no saint, ha ha.

Ah, robert! Didn´t know we were neighbours;) Funny that you feel this way about the Danes. I really don´t see us that way, but I guess most people would feel like that about their own.

I really don´t like Lars Ulrich!!! He´s SO full of himself and I don´t like his attitude. Never liked Metallica either. No thank you.

Lars Von Trier is just a little crazy. He´s done some amazing work and that takes a special human insight and talent. But he is a nutter and I´m never going to watch Antichrist: I´ve heard that it is brilliant and I don´t doubt that it is. I just can´t watch people cut off their private parts. I´ll never sleep again if I do.

I´ve heard that "Lars and the real girl" is an amazing film

Ditte, Ditte, Ditte, a couple of hundred years ago you´d be considered a dangerous woman, denying the Gods. I´m sitting here wearing a Metallica t-shirt so watch you tongue  ... you little rascal ;)

Umm, while waiting for inserting the symbol I totally forgot what I had on my mind... ah, now I remember, these Lars-guys from Denmark. Yep, Ulrich truly has some problems with his attitude, that´s not my problem with him.. the problem is I would rather swim with starving bullsharks than trusting him, so.... then again he´s funny and as an artist he has got more balls than 95% of all the rock stars I know, I love those drums in St: Anger... ah well who cares.

The other Lars... I love Breaking the Waves with Stellan Skarsgård and Emily Watson I think, can´t remember one single scene (except when she screams about how fucking big his cock is) but that´s because my memory needs to be repared, the movie was great, really emotional... have got to see it again soon.

Have you seen Festen? One of the best films I have ever seen...really provocative and moving, have to see it again soon!

Yes, yes, yeeeees, I know Metallica is popular amongst a lot of people. They just never really did it for me.
Oh yes, I´ve seen "Festen" (The Celebration) It´s an amazing film and the first in the Dogma genre. Haven´t seen it since it was released back then. Yeah, have to watch that one again! Thanks for the reminder!! :)
Never seen "Breaking the Waves" though. I love "Dancer in the Dark". It is SO beautiful and SO cruel. But it´s the kind of film you can only watch once.
My all time favorite is "Riget" (The Kingdom) and I LOOOOVE Ernst-Hugo Jägergård as Stig Helmer. I just don´t think Stig was as pleased with the Dansk Jävlar as you are, rob;)

I like danish metal too! Volbeat, DAD, Mercyful Fate/King Diamond and Beyond Twilight... hmm, but the best danish act all times is of course AQUA.. roses are red then why you look so blue..da-ti-da-ti-to-da-.... ah what a gorgeous fucking song...

Don´t care for Dogma-movies though, Festen is the only exception that I´ve found.. the rest tried to hard to be artistical. Never seen that dancer in the dark, but I bet little Bjork was perfect.. jumping around and screaming, she didn´t have to play no role. Never seen Riket, maybe it´s time to do that, but I´m kind of lazy so I think not.

Well, Kiddo never seen those crimes series, even though they´ve done a couple of thousands by now!  But I´m sure they´re better than 24 and Lost and all the other modern crap coming out.

Tell me something, do you need subtitles or do you understand what they´re saying? I must admit having problems detecting all the danish words. And my brother, my not so stupid brother, even had to study when he went to Denmark to work, ha ha.

Hah, well. I do have my troubles understanding Swedish. But well, I can understand most of the words and sentence when it's not too fast spoken. I read Swedish almost perfectly, because I read lots of Swedish stuff on the net (blogs, etc.) and I also read some old Swedish books a while ago.

But yeah, I know what you mean. And some Swedish words even mean the exact opposite in Danish.

But you should check out those crime series. And the Danish one called Rejseholdet (Unit One)! That's really great! :)

Aha, so in Danish I read some instructions, schampoo instructions, step-by-step the ultimate guide or something and didn´t understand one word. After a couple of seconds, or was it minutes.. could be hours, perhaps it was an entire day my memory is blocked, I realized I was reading the German section!

Then I tried both Norwegian and Danish.. not to hard to understand, I understood almost everything, funny how close those languages are.. interesting stuff.
