It was nice to come home today and find that my Surveillance Blu-Ray had arrived while I was on vacation! Huzzah! Debating on whether to watch that or the 16 hours of Blizzcon coverage waiting for me on my TiVo.

Yeah, I think we know which one I should watch. :D *tears open packaging*

Not a bad film at all. Although i guessed what the twist was as soon as they pulled up in the car and looked at each other all weird. I'm not one of those people who's mind constantly ticks throughout a film as to how the ending will unfold, but i pretty much couldn't help it. It was glaring.

Other than that, i really enjoyed the film. It doesn't really explain motives other than the fact that the killers are just plain fucked up, but then i suppose that in itself is the reason for the murders.

I still retain the opinion that Pullman is a real underrated actor. He's flawless throughout, and Ormond is great too. I've always had a bit of a thing for her. Hehe.

Yeah. I'd personally recommend it to anyone on the board. I saw it on Sky so the alternative ending and deleted scene(s) escape me so far, but intend to get the DVD fairly soon.
