I met this lovely lady at the party of our very own Josh Eisenstadt, and it was really cool to hang with her.  Much like Charlene (also present) from Inland Empire, Rena played a prostitute in Mulholland Drive.

If any of you aren't sure whom I am speaking of, she was the prostitute that the PI was asking to help him find the missing woman.  He slapped her butt and they went into a van.  lol

She was cool, and talked alot about how much she loved David Lynch, it is neat to meet people who work with David Lynch, because they all seem to be BIG fans before they even get a chance to work with him.  Rena is no exception.  She obviously loves Twin Peaks, and we gabbed about it.  I only wish I would have asked her if David shared any ideas he had about where the SHOW Mulholland Drive was going to go, had it been picked up and made into a series.  I had a few too many drinks, though.....and ended up talking about a cult movie she made called Trasharella.  Anyone see it?

It was neato-mosquito.

Yeah, she was cool.  I didn't bring up Showgirls, though.  She is NOTHING like that character.  lol  I still havent' seen trasharella, though.  I got it on my netflix cue, though.

Aw....I wish I would have brought it up then.  I guess I was a little drunk, and a little nervous at the time, because she was introduced to me as a celeb, and it wasn't a chance meeting...so I was like, "oh...I love your work." and I didn't know what else to say right away. 

Fortunately, she didn't care and told me about other stuff....but I DO wish I would have mentioned SHOWGIRLS...especially about working with Kyle! 

I forget that when that film was made, it wasn't too long after Twin Peaks...and people still saw a bit of Cooper in Kyle.  lol  Hell....I STILL see a bit of Cooper in Kyle.
