I hope he doesn't get to join the large list of deceased celebrities this year just yet.

The article I read said that he entered the hospital with an oxygen mask. Do you think that was a Blue Velvet reference?

The nurse was overheard saying "I like to sing Blue Velvet"

I'm gonna feel terrible now if he's not okay; hopefully he will be.

I think I'll watch his episodes of Fishing With John and think good thoughts about him.

There are rumors out there that he is not a well man.  I don't know how much credence these rumors deserve but I had heard a month ago that he was in poor health and not of the acid reflux variety.

I know wizard. fuck is right.

Just last year over here in the states Dennis did a commercial for a financial advisor company. It was about celebrating a person's retirement years by planning for them.

Wizard, the guy looked great !! He was healthy looking, energetic, looking enthusiastically to the future ahead.

I would just rather live in a world where Dennis was around. What a loss.

Good thing is he will always be remembered as a great, raw part of cinema history.  Just one of these actors I'd have loved to have met, but oh well..

Just got one of the films he directed; "Out of the Blue" with Linda Manz...might watch it soon...

Just remember, folks, this is a guy that most people thought wouldn't survive the 1970s, much less into HIS 70s!!!It's not how long you live, but the quality of said life. And he ain't dead yet... Oh, no. I hope the last film he made wasn't that stupid Republican Christmas Carol piece o' crap!!! Quick, Dennis!!! ONE MORE!!!

Dennis was great in so many films, I wish his spirit well.

Don't forget him as 'Feck' in "Rivers Edge"!
