Terminally ill Dennis Hopper rallies for dinner at restaurant with friends

Last updated at 12:47 PM on 30th January 2010 Cancer-stricken Dennis Hopper left his sick bed behind for a meal with friends yesterday. The Easy Rider star looked pale and gaunt, but raised a smile for photographers as he walked into Joe's Restaurant in Venice, California. A friend put a supporting arm around the 73-year-old star, escorting him inside. He was accompanied by a group of friends and relatives. More... Hopper, who is terminally ill with prostate cancer, made headlines when he filed for divorce from his wife of 13 years in a shock move earlier this month. He and Victoria Hopper, who have a six-year-old daughter Galen, have been living together since 1992 and married four years later, in April 1996.

The actor has three adult children, Marin, Henry and Ruthiana.
His first wife, Brooke Hayward, Marin's mother, has reportedly been seen at the LA hospital where he is being treated.
