Check out the $$$ satiny jewel-toned makeover the Salish is getting this autumn. Some professional was hired for it. Whaddaya think? Gay? Sexy? Sexy in a $$$ homosexual interior design sexiness way?

I. Uh...

Huh.

Well. It's not bad, actually. To be honest, the room looks more modern now, quite like many other hotels I stay at during the year. That being said...I kinda liked the more earthy, rustic look the rooms had before. I'm in the woods...I'd like to feel that way even while I'm in my room. :) But still...that "after" picture is quite lovely. Hm.

Can't wait to see what this little renovation does to the room prices.

Hell yes they are. I'd like to steal one of their beds.

The dollar signs in the OP make it look like a very coherent spam post.

Ugh, for real. They were just starting to get close to something that resembled reasonable just before Fest time last year. Like, that week. They cheap room was only double the cost of an Edgewick.

Think I see new blinds. Anything would be an improvement on those abysmal, heavy canvas pulley systems. I know that nuart was making a list of things that needed to be improved in the super duper mega happy suite!

I find it strange there is no mention of Twin Peaks on their website, or have I missed it?  Do they not like it mentioned or something?

Nah, I just don't think they really care all that much. The Salish was bought by a major corporation a few years back and they have little concern with something like Twin Peaks. You find more that businesses in the surrounding area will name-drop Peaks. That being said, the Salish still does a great job of taking care of our celebrity guests during the Festival, so at least they have a little respect on some level. Most likely because we pay them, but hey. I'm not picky. :)
