Like 65Daysofstatic, Red Sparrows, Eluvium, Radiohead, A Silver Mt. Zion, stuff like that. I love it, I think it's the best music around today!

I saw 65daysofstatic in the pub round the corner from me a couple of years ago. I've always been a fan of theirs. Eluvium make absolutely beautiful music, but Red Sparowes i've never had time for to be honest. I think they're a more boring version of M83.
I beg you to check out Our Ceasing Voice . For literally a couple of Euros they will send you their EP which comes in hand-made packaging, with a hand-sparyed vinyl-effect CD, with four tracks of some of the most beautiful music ever played. After buying their EP i've actually become pretty good pals with them, hehe. I have a genuine belief that most "post-rock" bands/artists these days are influenced by either Brian Eno, or Angelo Badalamenti. Or in alot of cases both. If you want Peaks style stuff (whilst remaining within the post-rock style), you could do alot worse than Stars Of The Lid, Aix Em Klemm, Deaf Center, and Mammifer. The first three actually sample either the show, or the music from it. Mamiffer on the other hand just have that "feel".

Thanks for the recs man! And I think you should check out Dichroi. I stumbled upon them by accident a little while back and they make beautiful music. Sleeping Pills is one of my all-time favourite tracks now. I also highly recommend The American Dollar. Beautiful and relaxing. Do you have last.fm?

Asa fan of A Silver Mt. Zion, have you seen Mister Lonely? It's a beautiful film, and uses a ASMZ song to great effect, it was the first time I'd heard them.

Haven't seen it, yet, but I want to see it as Harmony Korine is one of my heroes and I love Gummo and Julien Donkey-Boy. And I know what you're talking about, "13 Angels Standing Guard Round the Side of your Bed" over the scene with the skydiving nuns, i saw a preview. It hasn't had a release in the UK, so I'm gonna download it as soon as i get my computer tuned up.
