This is directed at everyone, but especially girls who have been the targets of other girls, have you ever had the security of your private social networking page breached?

What do you know about this? Is it easy?

I would feel like a coward to just delete my profile, and I'm pretty discreet to begin with, but how is this chick getting to read my Facebook wall? What can I do other than use all FB's privacy features?

I didn't do it, I swear!  I wouldn't even know HOW to do it.  Besides, I wouldn't hurt a fly.

LOL! Twas not you or any of my FB friends, nuart! I am certain is not any friends of friends, either. But this ordeal IS in response to the answer to my relationships status change I gave you.

I'll shoot you a text when I get back in town, mom ;)

So has someone taken over your account? Or are they just able to see things on your facebook page that you thought they couldn't see? My answers will vary depending on the situation.

Amanda to the rescue!!! The latter. And yes, I have had all my security settings at Fort Knox levels from the get-go. They have quoted my wall twice, two things that I deleted hours after I posted them. So they are watching me closely.

Do you have any frenemy who would be jealous of you and also have sophisticated net knowledge?

I'm thinking motive and opportunity.

Has that person recently poked you, sent you a message, or attempted to friend you and sent you a message with the friend request?

But back then it was really hard to quote someone's wall.

Sorry to hear that 12r...sucks that someone has that little a life to go to the trouble of doing that to ya. I...personally steer clear of facebook, myspace, Twitter and all that stuff as I dont know how secure they actually are and would rather err on the side of caution.

Hope you get it sorted out

newraymond, I know exactly who this person is and why I'm being stalked.

Amanda- no strangers from her area have tried to add or poke me, that I can recall. And even so, I have no limited profile to view using that trick.

I made it so no one can search me. Think that'll solve the problem?

Granted that you haven't set up your own facebook URL (or if you HAVE, they don't know it) then it should do. The only thing you can do to view someones page is search them, unless you're actually "friends" with them as far as i'm aware.

EDIT: I do hope it sorts it. This person sounds like such an odious human being. It's unfortunate that this isn't uncommon.
