Ah yes, I've had this virus and many variations of it before.  There is a very simple way of getting rid of it, but you'll need to install a lot of anti-virus software afterwards.  These types of virus create type of spyware called "system32" which is designed to clog up your computer's core files.  You'll need to search for system32 and when you find it, simply delete it.  Once this is done, the virus will have stopped blocking your actions, but there will still be remnants of it, so you'll need to download a good anti-virus program to completely get rid of it.  I'd personally recommend malwarebytes, but there are a few just as good.

Aw, how sweet. Yeah, just to quote you from my post on the previous page that you did not bother to read:

And as far as the Mac vs. Windows security debate:

http://www.tomshardware.com/news/hack-windows-security-snow-leopard,8704.html (My favorite quote from the article: "Snow Leopard's more secure than Leopard, but it's not as secure as Vista or Windows 7.")

http://www.pcworld.com/article/172688/hackers_paid_to_hijack_macs.html (Fave quote: "Mac OS X's security has been roundly criticized by vulnerability researchers , but even the most critical have acknowledged that the Mac's low market share -- it accounted for just 5% of all operating systems running machines that connected to the Internet last month -- is probably enough protection from cyber criminals for the moment.")

I went back and read the whole thread.

I still feel good about my recent switch to Apple. OS X Snow Leopard is much more pleasant to use than Windows 7. I have only this one iMac and am mindful of security issues. I'd guess my browsing habits are not compromising my system's security.

Not being very knowledgeable about computers, as you do appear to be, I'd be left guessing and trusting on the results of a virus scan on both a Windows and OS X computer anyway.
