My mate Jon has been into Punk for years and I never really paid him/it much mind,but anyway having realized I`d just about eaten everything...I turned curiously to his Massive Computer Music library to see if there was anything I liked the sound of... Anyway straight away I loved the Aquabats(God music) and well,just about everything about them,also and in close pursuit now comes Cocksparrer,Guttermouth,Goldie Looking Chain and maybe the Cherry Popping Daddies... This `new music` has been my over-riding passion for the last couple of years now and I`m just glad I delved into my mates music library when I did... These groups don`t do the charts and are effectively `Cult` but it seems to be all the best stuff music-wise is/was hidden from public view,these groups don`t want to be commercial or be famous... Aquabats have their own Space-man like suits and for me are the best group on the Planet... Cocksparrer too,I think are just an awesome group,...they don`t want to be known though for fear of attracting `plastics` and `hangers-on` They are cult groups that would rather stay hidden and be discovered by those looking for them... Of the Ska-Punk family mainly,other favourites include the Dance Hall Crashers,Lars Fredriksen & the Bastards,Sonic Boom Six,the Toy Dolls,Buzzcocks,Save Ferris and the Planet Smashers... Way out in front though Aquabats and Cocksparrer,closely followed by Guttermouth.... But like I say it`s all Underground/on its own scene/Cult(Cos they don`t want to be on Top of the Pops) But anyway yes,The Aquabats and Ska Punk:-God Music !!!!
