Cool, I will have to check this out!

I see in the trailer that Johnny Depp narrates. At first I thought they were just biting him reading William Blake on the Dead Man soundtrack.

<3 Jim. He haunts my dreams.

The Doors Are Dreamy, just love the clips from the film, I'll bet there's plenty more in the long run.

I was at a Doors concert in the round--a smaller venue. Great medium close seats. From Ray M's first organ note on it was fantastic (picture Gov Arnold Shwartzenegger saying fantastic).

Ray - I didn't know you attended a Doors concert?!?! that had to be absolutely amazing (as long as Morrison was on top of his game). When and where?

It was nice to be with hundreds not thousands at the Doors concert. Morrison was indeed on that particular nite at the top of his game. Before some deal about a performance in Florida, exposing dick or something maybe a year or even two later??.

1968 would've been before Morrison started getting REALLY flaky. But that was after he was maced and thrown into jail somewhere up in the northeast. Of all groups The Doors is THE group I would've wanted to see in concert but I wasn't even born yet.

That was New Haven, CT, for what it's worth.

Hey Rebel!  Yeah I've heard about this too, seen the trailer and as a huge longtime Doors fan I can't wait to see it, but I know it's on limited release here in the U.K.  Regardless, I'm prepared to go wherever and spend the money.  Jim Morrison is still the Lizard King to me, mm   His doppelganger Val Kilmer is awesome in that role in the Oliver Stone version of The Doors too, I can't believe the resemblence between the two of them it's creepy!

"watch out for my cousin.."
