I am not in one and i like it! because i like to pick my own books......i like searching for books on amazon or whatever.....read some of the pages before i buy them.......if there is a book i like i buy it, if it sounds dull and uninteresting i dont.......If you are in a book club you dont get to pick your own books......they send you books they pick out......

is it not also something that maybe can lead to more homogenous reading habits in the population.........if the whole population was member of the same book club, they would all read the same book every month....there would not be any variation in reading habits.....i this can lead to intellectual stagnation in general!! I guess i took matters out on a limb with that last point......but it would be something terrifying with a society where all of the reading part of the population was member of the same book club....or a book club, not even the same........ But i guess it would be better than a society where not one of the members read anything!

i dont believe i've handed my gun over to anybody in my ENTIRE LIFE!!.......you wanna know something else i've never done?........I've never crossed the ocean.....Never got to China!
