Ok, I guess it's clue time
film 3 and film 5 have been released on DVD by the same company, the DVD for 5 featured an introduction by the directors of film 4 (who were featured in the last thread).
Edit: It seems my terrible clues were too terrible. Here's another for film 3 - Wormwood.

If you put the title of film 9 into google you could probably get some results for number 8 also.
The title of 9 shares the first word of 8's title and its director's last name.
They were both made by American expatriates in France.
The actor in 9 is the same person chilling out in 14.
The original title of 13 translates to King of Songs.
