Anyone else looking forward to Christopher Nolan's newest? Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Michael Caine...Opening July 16--and so far all the reviews I've read have been glowing...like these: http://hollywood-elsewhere.com/2010/07/creamola.php

I can't wait. I've got IMAX tickets booked for next month but don't know how I'll be able to hold out for that long. I love Chris Nolan's films (although to my shame I still haven't watched Following, his debut...) and yeah, I haven't seen a single review less than five-star review. I'm really looking forward to it. It looks excellent. I'm thinking that I will try and see it at the IMAX.

Suprised that no one had anything to say after seeing this movie. I loved it. And my boyfriend who generally hates movies that are open to interpretation said it was one of the best movies ever. I thought it was very smart for something slated to be a summer blockbuster.

I saw it, and it is better than 90% of the crap summer stuff out there, but I wasn't blown away. I think probably because there was way too much time spent on car chases, endless gun play, etc. wasn't too hard to figure out the previous inception attempt, but the premise was fun and the cast was good too. worth seeing at the movies.

This movie needed more freaky weightlessness and less gunplay, but it was very good. I'm not sure Ellen Page was the best choice. Tom Hardy and JGLevitt need to do a buddy-cop movie or something.

Very good, but I was hoping for something more compelling. Not something I'd watch again anytime soon, let alone buy on blu-ray. Too much of an action movie for my taste. I would have loved this twenty or fifteen years ago. Perhaps I'm being unfair.

I watched it today, and I could not see what the big deal was. A movie that tries too hard to be something for everyone and ultimately failing to be effective on any level.
eXistenZ was about games as a sort of dream, and Inception is about dreams as a sort of videogame. It's interesting that it was never mentioned when Nolan name-dropped The Matrix, Dark City, and The Thirteenth Floor, since it's pretty much the same movie, structurally and thematically.

I totally agree, Booth. I was so disappointed when I saw it that I couldn't even bring myself to write my reaction in the thread I started!
