It's one of those things where you answer a few theoretical questions and it tells you who you are. http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html Glance not upon this graphic, for fear that the revelations about myself concealed therein may cause you to swoon with vertigo.

Nice short questionnaire Jamie. I am one click right on the Libertarian quadrant. Almost full blown libertarian. 90%personal 100%economic. I just wanted to note the sad passage of my man Harry Browne the Libertarian presidential candidate in 2000 and 2004. Harry died this week. www.libertyfree.com/

I hadn't heard about Harry Browne's death, Raymond. That was the last vote cast by my father-in-law who died on election day 2000. At his funeral I made note of the fact that he always voted for the loser and was proud of it! But I am convinced that dallying in third party politics is a waste of time when it comes to the presidency. Maybe the occasional Green or Libertarian or (heaven forbid) Natural Law party candidate will make it into some obscure local office, they will never supercede the two major parties. Better to affiliate oneself with the party you are closest to and work to promote your agenda there. Unless you're just a masochist (coff Ralph Nader coff). Oh, I haven't taken the quiz yet but I know myself. Susan Okay,I took the quiz and it was a surprise. That's because I would not be led by questions meant to illicit a certain response...i.e. "end corporate handouts." Ladies and gentleman, I am a... ...stark raving CENTRIST!!! So there!

Right on the third party stuff. I didn't vote for Harry--he had my heart but my head had me supporting the main party I had most in common with especially in a vital election. It isn't the Democrats ! I remember PMing Jordan explaining our Jesse Jacksonish "common ground" back in 2004. I said we could work out the drug question and other secondary issues down the line and he agreed and even showed some wiggle room on the drug question. Repubs are at least ready to discuss propositions and they tend to be down my street on primary survival of the republic issues. Only 382,000 voted for Libertarian president in 2000. ( I know i would have liked your father -in -law Susan. ) Susan, can we get just a tad more economic Darwinism out of you ? Nice looking chart Candy Colored Clown !

Liberal, as expected (Just one block to the right of Jamie) Questions were a bit dumb and obvious though ("duh... I wonder where it'll place me if I agree with cutting taxes... duh!!!") -------- I think someone should tell Susan that someone has her login and is impersonating her. "...stark raving CENTRIST" - funniest thing I've read all week!!!!

Rats, I can't post the graph, because there's no toolbar on my computer!
But, just as I suspected, mine came in a lot like Amanda's, except the dot was smack in the middle, at the first line down from the top! See!? I'm NOT a right wing wacko!!!
Hmmm.... can't add smileys either...
