Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Episode 1 to be released on consoles this week. Anybody else excited about this game? It's already garnering some praise on the review sites!

Think I'll pick this one up on PSN. It's interesting how many games are trying the back-to-basics approach. It's generally working (New Super Mario Bros Wii was one of my favourites last year), but it's surely a sign that games developers are having trouble bringing the old franchises into the modern gaming world.
