and then Truman gives him that look, as if to say - "Yeah, I know,I'm sorry!" lol

Ben:  "We've laid in a gala reception for your fair-haired boys tonight.  All of Twin Peaks' best and brightest."

Jerry: "We're holding it in a phone booth?"

When the Bookhouse Boys get Cooper at at diner to tell him about the drugs and Norma takes their order, then Cooper tells Ed:

"So Ed, how long have you been in love with Norma?"

Hilarious. Along with that, the insurance guy at Leo's house fooling around with the handicap chair and Johnny Horne yelling out to plastic buffalos while Ben is talking to John in his office. Also, who could forget the part near the end when the Miss Twin Peaks contestants are dancing together? You have Nadine with an eye patch, quirky Lucy, overrated Lana and all the other girls.

I think it's in episode 3, when Truman and Coop are questioning Leo.  When asked if Shelly will confirm his where-abouts on the night of Laura's murder, Leo responds : "She will if you ask her!"

Don't know why I always found this funny.  Must be the tone of his voice.  Man, angry-Leo was the best.  so many great Leo lines!

Ben:  "We've laid in a gala reception for your fair-haired boys tonight.  All of Twin Peaks' best and brightest."

Jerry: "We're holding it in a phone booth?"

Donna speeding away in the asshole van (that's what my friends used to call an astro van back in junior high) after finding James and Maddy holding each other.

Sam

Striving for the narrow gate.

I can't believe the way Donna overreacted when she saw that. Ironically, she ran to Harold Smith as a counterattack and he ended up dead.

I laughed when Sheriff Truman and Andy have returned to the station, to find Lucy watching Invitation to Love.  Truman asks her what's happening, and Lucy goes into a non-stop review of the soap opera action.

I also laughed when Jerry is extolling the virtues of his new, Icelandic hottie to Ben, "She gave me a whole leg of lamb!", waving the leg in Ben's face.

"I'm talking about seeing beyond fear, Roger.  About looking at the world with love."

Another good one -

When the Mayor referred to Jacoby as a hippy- the look on his face was priceless!

Ben:  "We've laid in a gala reception for your fair-haired boys tonight.  All of Twin Peaks' best and brightest."

Jerry: "We're holding it in a phone booth?"

Miguel Ferrer's face is priceless at the hospital, when Big Ed is telling Coop the story of how he shot out Nadine's eye on their honeymoon.  Albert can't stop from smiling and laughing, with Harry looking on with consternation.  Great interaction.  Very funny.

I love when Wyndam Earle is in the cabin with Leo... there are a lot of funny moments in there.  But my favorite is when Leo steals the remote control and starts electrocuting himself.  Awesome.

I absolutely love Kenneth Welsh's laugh - makes you want to laugh with him even when he's being so bad.

How about when Albert is doing the autopsy on Laura, and he takes the air drill, gives it a couple squeezes and says, "Now if you'll excuse me I got some cutting and pasting to do."

When Bobby takes the blackmail tape to Ben and Ben says "To be frank, I didn't know Leo could master the technology" and Bobby just laughs.

Any scene with Albert

When Cooper is first questioning  Bobby and Bobby gives him attitude.....Coopers response is priceless "I asks you questions and you answer them"

Gorden Cole and jerry horne always makes me laugh

In the pilot when Andy starts to cry when taking pictures of Laura

When Harry is shoving that doughnut in his mouth and Cooper comes in and tells him he has to pee.

When Shelly is depicting the funeral with the napkin dispenser and her fingers.

While it makes me laugh, it is the bad kinda laugh...but the scene with maddy donna and james where they are singing....that stupid little mic stand and the looks that go on in that scene are just so freakin retarded. Who has a mini mic stand with an old elvis style mic on it......WFT...... the fact  that james has to kneel down is just the icing on the retard cake.....that god damn song that they are singing......I know it is twin peaks but what trio of high school kids call up each other and say "hey lets play some music while kneeling in my living room"......sorry but I can not stand james and donna.

Gordan telling Coop - "Today you remind me of a small chi-wow-wow" makes me giggle too.  Actually alot of Gordan's lines were pretty funny come to think of it...

"Diane, I'm holding in my hand a small box of chocolate bunnies."

Good one Douglas!  That scene makes me laugh every time!  Ben Horne had so many classic lines

Ben:  "We've laid in a gala reception for your fair-haired boys tonight.  All of Twin Peaks' best and brightest."

Jerry: "We're holding it in a phone booth?"

Although I like Donna, Maddy and James, I have to agree on how funny this scene looks.  Did I miss something?  WHY were they recording this song in the first place?

My first post YAY!!!

maybe the Tibetan rock throw that hit Andy in the head. Or when Doc and family are in the diner and Audrey comes in and he says "Remind me to pick up those 60 watt bulbs.

But not in the first regular episode when Cooper orders his artery stiffening eggs and grapefruit Juice and adds as Audrey's entry in the "Why do they call it Twin Peaks?" contest looms into view, adds, "Just as long as they are freshly squeezed"?

Welcome fellow newbie!

Most of the scenes with Gordon Cole are great, but I'd vote for his scene with Shelly where he can hear her without his hearing aid, that may be tops.

When Cooper is throwing rocks to hit a bottle, takes a gulp of coffee, spits it out and says  "DAMN good coffee - and HOT !!!!

I really laughed my ass off the first time I saw that.

I also love it when Bobby walks in on them about to kiss and says "What's going on here?"  and Gordon replies "You are witnessing a three quarter view of a tender moment between two adults," or something of that nature.  Gordon is a great character.

1 of my favorites is when i think it's the 2nd or 3rd episode when pete's wife catherine tells pete to get his boots off her bed and to go to his room. Also i like pete's comment back to her and than catherine's comment back to him i thought that was 1 of the funniest moments of the series.

Hi, another noob here, so happy I found this board... recently rented the series and became obsessed with it! I read a post on the TP alt.news feed about how Kyle Maclachlan wants to bring back TP as a webseries... never believed in God before then, but all of a sudden I started praying... anyway.

Three of my favorites:

I think it's the second episode, when Coop returns to his hotel room and he's so pleased with the room service he does a little march in place, tweets his little recorder and waves it around. Makes me laugh uncontrollably every time I see it.

The scene with Hawk and Lucy in S2 ep 203... Lucy's trying to think of words with the letters r b t and Hawk's trying to help her when Dick walks in for his lunch date with Lucy. Hawk's look of complete disgust is just priceless. When he breaks Dick's cigarette and the holder, it's so bad it's good. And then he gives Lucy the words 'prohibited' and 'robot.' Pretty much the best scene with Hawk ever... he was so underrated.

And then there's the 'i'm a whole damn town' scene with Andy and Truman. Hysterical.

Er, would you like some lemonade? I also have some saltines and some apple butter. Or would you like to wash your hands?

The funniest moment for me was the Civil War re-enactment in 2x15, with Audrey, Jacoby, Jerry and Bobby trying to coax Ben back to sanity. I adored Jerry in this scene, playing Audrey's father and the ridiculous accent he puts on. Funny stuff.
