Some hilarious lines from the season 2 premiere.

Hank: Leo's in a coma. Looks like brain damage.

Jerry: With Leo, how can they tell?

And then when Jerry touches Hank's arm and Hanks hoves it off and Jerry's like "You know, that really makes me mad".

To me one of the most hilarious moments throughout the series remains the scene where Mike whispers in Bobby's ear what the combination of Nadine's maturity and physical strength can result in Bobby's reaction just kills me every time and I can't help but break into mad laugh, lol As a little kid when I was watching the show I was so curious to know what Mike said to Bobby..but nobody around me would want to tell me,lol

Of course there are many other memorable funny moments... Andy is always so much fun! Funny, but sweet. :)

Beware of BOB

BOBBOB

When I call out no one can hear me,when I whisper he thinks the message is for him only..my little voice inside my throat,I always think there must be something that I've done or something I can do...But no one no one comes to help,he says,a little girl like you...

Yeah Andy was funny ... I remember when he was going to gentlemen room with the "Fleshworld" in his hands for a sperm test and Lucy suddenly showed up from a corner and they shamshed into each another and Lucy saw Andy's "Fleshworld". Ha! It was also funny when Andy dropped his sperms test on a floor in the police station and the test rolled under a chair :>

Oh, and Lucy was always amusing. Her voice is priceless. And she always says so many things at short time. I remember how she transfered Pete's call to the sheriff and tried to explain to him which phone the sheriff should answer.

Pete's accent is also amusing. "She's deeeead. Wrapped in plastic" :D

Oh and Denise saying something about how cute Audrey is. And then he/she says "you can wear only one sock at the time" (if I remember it correctly). Whatever it means, it sounds funny :>

And when Denise brings some food for Jean Renaultwhen he kidnapped Coop and Cooper takes a gun from under her skirt :P

Pete taking the tube out of his nose and sniffing a tray of hospital food makes me belly laugh every time I see it.

And I suspect this may be a controversial choice but I love Lucy's sister Gwen. Her scenes aren't laugh-out-loud funny but they always make me smile like a maniac.

I think it's season one, episode ... two or three ... Harry and Cooper are in the station and as they get up to leave, Cooper tweaks Harry's nose between his fingers and makes a really bizarre "eeee" noise. It's easy to miss, and I just noticed it during my fifth or so viewing of the series. =D

I agree!! What a strange thing to do!!

I also laugh when James has his "I'm in shock" expression!!!! He looks so foolish..

"Albert's path is a strange and difficult one".

Also  episode 25 (i think) is played for laughs much more than any other episode, Gordon Cole falling for Shelley, and Cooper's entrance with the hard hat and glasses

wow funny thread!  I think this has been done before but it's always nice to see what others think.  And you're right, so many priceless moments.  One of my favourites that hasn't been mentioned yet, when James gives Cooper the necklace and says he found it in a coconut, the look Coop gives him when he kind of gets up in his face and goes "A coconut?".

The Llama.

Morgue scene especially at the start when you hear someone go  "wey-oh" and I'm sure Sheryl Lee is smirking.

Albert to Coop re Andy: "Where do they keep his water dish?" followed by Andy smiling when Coop says good work then "yeah. woof" Cracks me up everytime.

Albert: "Great!  After the square dance maybe we can all take a hayride"

Pretty much anything Albert says but those are my particular faves.

Gordon Cole "BONSAAAAAAAAAAIIIIII!!!!" in Windom Earle's ear as he angrily yanks the headset off.

Donna's pathetic "uh..Maddy?" fake crying, that lasts about 5 seconds. like she can't believe she has to pretend to cry over someone she was afraid was gonna steal her man.  It doesn't even look like she's upset really, especially when you compare it to the pilot.

Some of Donna's sweaters, especially the bright orange one matched with bright orangey lipstick bleargh.

However, I disagree with the comment about her dress in the Pageant, I think Annie's was far worse lol. It looked like something that belonged in Dynasty or Falcon Crest.

Yeah I find the Mayor funny too, especially when he says "Pageant" and his voice disappears as the mic falls down the stand.

Leo's face falling in his birthday cake after "ice-cream!" slap on back by Bobby.

Hawk's face when he first meets Denise.  Priceless.

The amount of weapons sticking out of Hawk when he walks down the corridor.

Hawk chatting up Lana when Andy opens the door.  Yeah, Hawk's had some pretty funny moments too.

Little Nicky, Dick, Andy malted spin the chair moment. ONLY funny moment with that threesome to me.

Yeah, Ed's wig, good call.

Andy   "I'm sterile.Sure, I thought it meant I didn't have to take a bath but the doctors told me the truth"

The wide-eyed look on Cooper's face after Audrey's rescue when the bouncer/security guy stops them..even when he turns around he still looks.. I just find that so funny, the way he doesn't even blink.

Bernard's accent.

"watch out for my cousin.."

QUOTE:Oh what about in the pilot when that kid moonwalks in the hall of the high school? I just don't see Lynch wanting something so stupid in the scene. Maybe he was trying to convey how stupid high school kids are.

There's something similar to this in Fire Walk With Me, where Bobby has been talking to Laura and Donna, as they walk away he does this stupid kind of backwards breakdance to the school doors.  I also liked "I was standing right behind you but you're too dumb to turn around..".

Another funny one I just thought of was in the Diner when Shelley and Gordon are talking and Margaret is saying "this PIE is a miracle and he yells WHAT'S THAT?!"

"watch out for my cousin.."

Funniest part for me was when Hank and Norma's step dad come back from their "hunting trip" and Norma asks Arnie if he "caught anything" and he says "God, I hope not."!!!!! That is hilarious to me!

Anything from the Pine Weasel storyline is amusing, but the part that ALWAYS cracks me up is when the animal bites Dick in the second season during the fashion show, and then breaks free to cause chaos with all the guests. For some reason, that just makes me laugh really hard.

The deer head laying on the table in the bank in the pilot, AND the girl working in the bank trying to make small-talk with Cooper and Harry - "Oh, it fell" - well, duh..." and "She was always so nice," about Laura - Cooper's reaction to her is funny, also.

Yesterday I actually picked up on something else while watching the episode that shows Laura's funeral - while Leland is laying on top of the coffin as it goes up and down it sounds like someone in the background says something like, "Old Leland's gone haywire!" It's one of those funny moments that really isn't funny because it's so tragic, but I laughed anyway. :-/

I've never heard that probably because of the chaos of the funeral scene. I'll have to pop it in the DVD player and listen for it. :D

Let me know if you hear it, too. I was kind of surprised that I never noticed it before. I had my volume up pretty high b/c I was watching and wrapping Christmas presents at the same time.

I know, it wasn't supposed to be funny but when BOB says "Catch you... in my DEATHBAG!" I start laughing uncontrollably.

And then Mike and Bobby! They're so dumb and arrogant!

They totally deserved their spin-off or movie... something like "Snake and Bopper do America"

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but I liked the scene when they put a party hat on Leo and he faceplants into the cake. I only just finished watching the series, so I'm sure I'll remember tons of funny scenes after I watch it all for a 2nd or 3rd or 4th time!

QUOTE:when Ben hits his head off the fireplace, gushing blood, and Donna cries...oh wait, that's not funny...

But I thought Doc Hayward's moment of Wolverine-esque rage/agony on his knees at the fireplace by the fallen Ben was unintentionally hilarious. Narm moment.

ETA: I loved all of the S1 Albert scenes: "I'm the Sultan of Sentiment" now move aside while I do serious business.

Margaret first offering the log to Cooper: "You may ask it." And when he looks askance at Harry, she withdraws it and says: "I thought so." And her later in the season slapping his hand at the tea table when he reaches for a sweet biscuit.

Also the two guys playing winter tennis at night before the camera pans to Cooper - it's the juxtaposition and the fact that the guys playing tennis have NOTHING to do with the plot or story.

Oh, and Catherine, as Mr Tajamura kissing Pete before he realises it's here. Jack Nance's facial expressions are priceless!

I love that scene! "There's something about your eyes!" :)

I found it be quite absurd and hillarious that Ben was eating a piece of celery one time real casually. THEN another time was eating a carrot while talking to John Justice Wheeler. Not that eating a raw vegetable is completely absurd and unheard of...BUT

In the John Justice Wheeler scene, he pulls a carrot out of his inner coat pocket and hands it to him! What the hell!!!

First post btw, Nice forum you got here. I just finished the series this evening, havnt seen the movie yet.
