My favourite episode by far is episode 14.  I just rewatched it and it's one of the best things I've ever seen.  Mesmerizing and hypnotic, up with Lynch's best work...

The pilot comes second to this in my favourites...

I like 1x02 a lot, if only for the Tibet dream scene, the first instance of Cooper's dream being shown, which introduced the big mythological stuff in the show and for the great ending with Cooper snapping his fingers to the music. I also liked the pilot, the season one finale and everything from 2x19 on.

For me, the Pilot set the whole mood and delibrate pace of the show, and it instantly welcomed me in to the strange and wonderful world of Twin Peaks.

Ben:  "We've laid in a gala reception for your fair-haired boys tonight.  All of Twin Peaks' best and brightest."

Jerry: "We're holding it in a phone booth?"

My favorite episode is number 7, the Season 1 Finale.  One of the most exciting things I've ever seen on television, and possibly the best cliff hanger ever written!!!  I also love Episode 2 for Cooper's Dream Sequence, and of course Episode 14...

My personal favorite episode is surprising.  Yeah, the pilot, the rockthrow/dream, Maddy's death might be superior filmmaking, but to me the one I always rewatched the most and got so hooked on the show was...

1.05 and 1.06.  it's impossible for me to not think of it as one episode because when it reran in the summer of 1990, they combined them.

The previous episode set all the character up, and these two set them into action -it was a thrilling two hours for me.

Yeah I suppose when Maddy gets together with James and Donna the events of the series really get into motion.

It looks like you reduced the actual image, but you left a white background (Did you us Paint?). You will need to reduce the ENTIRE file down to 100 pixels x 100 pixels. If you're having difficulties with this, let me know and I can help. You can send me the file to trim down for you and I'll send it back to you so you can upload it.

Do people really use Paint for things?  I thought that died with Basic.

If Paint does the job, why use something else?

The series finale - The greatest thing that's ever been on television (with the exception of the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, of course !)

I don't like to put myself in a corner, so I like to think of each individual so called "episode" as just one piece of a bigger puzzle, so I like the entire Twin Peaks saga equally and view it as one single episode (albeit a really long one over a whole heck of a lot of nights, if you catch my drift).

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

I have to also include episode 18 as one of my favorites!  The whole Ben Horne scene, watching old home movies on that projector always makes me cry... it's probably the music.  And the reveal at the end of the episode that Andrew Packard is still alive is amazing, one of the most jaw dropping TV moments ever, I thought.

For me the best is the series finale. I love all Lynch episodes but the last one is absolutely brilliant. The pairing of music and imagery is particularly beautiful in that one.

I am watching peaks again for like the 35th time, however it has been years since my last play through so it is kinda all new. Last night I saw the first episode of season 2 and it has been my favorite so far. The show begins to take its mythological, and spiritual turns in that episode. Some things I really liked about it were.

-The old man delivering room service

-The giant

-The "damn thats some good pie"

-All of Albert's reactions to big Ed recollection of his past with Nadine

-Major Briggs recounting his vision of him and Bobby (I almost cried)

-The giant again

-The final scene with the camera creeping down the hospital halls mixed with Bob killing Laura

Absolutely great episode. That episode was way darker, creepier, and spiritual.

I don't really have a favorite episode of twin peaks there are about 4 or 5 episodes that really stick out like the series premiere - the pilot the funeral episode the episode where it's discovered bob and leland are one and the same the episode where leland passes away and the series finale are probably my favorites.

"...and there's always music in the air." Episode 5 is one of my favourite episodes. Love the ambience of the walk in the woods, the rendez-vous with the Log Lady and Jaques cabin.

Oh yeah, i know what u mean, great episode...Julee Cruise's "Into the Night" is a beautiful song...to me the walk through the woods and discovery of Jacques' cabin embodies what TP is all about...at least TP before the latter half of season 2...
