It does it from home computer as well. (It didn't at the start).

If there's the slightest possibility of someone else using my computer, 'Remember Me' isn't an option as far as I'm concerned, and although it's unlikely that this would happen at work, it's possible. If there's an outside chance that anyone borrows my PC, and has a trawl through my history, they could post as me. Similarly Hero and I occasionally swap computers at home, and I remember one instance back on the old board when I inadvertently posted as Herofix, because he'd been on before and used 'Remember Me', so that's why I avoid the facility.

Yes, fine, I'm neurotic. I've known that for years.

Jordon, I noticed you can't do single line breaks. It forces an empty line in between when you press enter. I'm not sure, but maybe you could change it from the P to BR, HTML code. Would that fix it?

It wouldn't let me log out either. It took about six or seven attempts, and then it seemed to work.
Kept getting this error message:

And now it looks like I'm permanently logged in.
I've tried umpteen times to log out, and even switched off the PC and went for a fag, but no, I'm stuck here.

I'd just like to point out for any workplace snoops who might stumble on here, that I am busy at my desk doing my job and not actually staring for hours on end at the Twin Peaks Gazette, despite appearances to the contrary.

if you can't log out then a cookie has probably been set. Clear your cache and your cookies.

I'll have to look into that error this weekend.

Same thing is happening to me---I tried to log out several times, and now it says I'm logged in 3 times...I have two doppelgangers!!!!  I went in and deleted all the cookies and cached files---still was happening---I'm going to attempt to restart the computer and see if that fixes it.

 <<EDIT>> -- After restarting the computer, my two doppelgangers went away, but I still cannot log out.

Okay, I think the logout is fixed. I got an error when logging out, but then fixed it, and tested it a couple of times.

also, it's possible that you may be logged out but the "Who's Online" could still have you listed there. However, after about 10 minutes, you should disappear from there. Theoretically, once you click LOG OUT it should clear that too.

Every time I try to send a PM, I get logged out, but my name remains on the Logged in list. I am now listed on there 3 times. I tried sending you a PM about this..... guess how that ended

Please fix this, even if all it really means is signing off all the extra MSA's trying to pretend to be me.

I am using Firefox.

 so, OK, within 5 min of this post I will turn my compuuter off entirely
