I would say that some of the questions would be nearly impossible to answer without looking them up.  The trivia contest at the fest is amazing.  The things that people know off the top of their heads amazes me.  I don't think it means you have no life if you know some of these things or that you are an inferior fan if you don't.  Some weird things just stick in the brain.
