 And Juliet!

Somehow I'll be surprised if Ben is already there.  The fact that Charlotte wasn't allowed to exist  in that time frame makes me think two time-versions of people aren't allowed to get too close to each other.  But maybe there will be some sort of  "Ben is his own grandpa" plot.

I know Faraday seems to think that history can't be re-written, but I wonder if that's going to be true.

 SPOILERS, GIO!

I loved seeing the four toed statue.

Who is the baby?

Juliette is awesome and very hot.  How did the baby survive?

How did Richard get through the fence?

I don't trust Horace.  He is always a bad guy in every role the actor plays (Green Mile, Toombs on X Files).

Good episode.

Juliet is sex on a stick! I would take her hiking over Kate any day.

Sawyer-3  Jack-1

It's strange how Locke and Ben remained in the present.

The character would be young when it comes to the baby being born.

The only person that comes to mind is Juliet.

I loved this episode. I've almost given up hope of any kind of satisfactory resolution, but am just enjoying going with the flow. Some crazy stuff this episode. Sawyer should stay with Juliet if he has any sense.

Anyway, if the writer's idea of approaching a resolution is having all the main characters live in the 70s on the Island I really don't know what to expect. Maybe they've been watching Life on Mars?

It seemed like they were always going to visit old dharma be it the 70's or not, but I thought it would have been through flashbacks. Who do you think the baby was that Juliet delivered?

Surely Penny is the most attractive woman on Lost. She reminds me of a teacher I had once.

I thought the most recent one about Sayid was very blah.  They keep going backwards with the story and filling in blanks in boring fashion about things I don't even care about.  Move the story forward!  I would contemplate quitting watching, but I'm over 5 seasons in - too much time invested LOL.  Move the story forward, dammit!  No more treading water!

Penny was in a movie from the early nineties called Proof.  It's a pretty rad movie.  I don't think she's all that hot though.  I did really like what's-her-name who was Hurley's "friend".  She was also on Drew Carey back in the day and I thought she was hot then, too.

I haven't seen this week's episode yet, but I've been inetersted in the season so far.  I have no idea where this could be possibly heading at the moment.

Did anyone watch Benjamin Linus and the Temple of Doom last week?

Not the best episode imo- mostly just ben and locke sparring. so he killed you already- get over it!  Some how the reveal at the end, which could have been really cool, just fell flat for me.  The details of the Ben/Widmore history were much more interesting.

I thought about temple of doom too! lol. I'm starting to wonder if the island is Atlantis after seeing that part.

I liked last night's episode very much.  Nice to know more about Miles.  I got a big kick out of Hurley's notebooks too!  Next week looks like it will be pretty exciting- should push the plot a lot farther.

I thought last night's epi was slow, but there was some vital info near the end concerning the bomb and the electromagnetic energy.

I was only mildly shocked when Ms. Hawking shot Daniel.  I thought he was gonna be even more of a major character.

All of this is building up to the the season finale called The Incident.

I thought it was funny when Faraday told Candle that Miles was his son and he denied it.

That Radzinski fella needs to die.

I am fascinated by the Richard character because I think he knows way more than he lets on.

Is this show building towards a series finale where their plane never crashes and the cast doesn't ever know each other?

Do you think Daniel will stay dead?  Maybe they can temple-ize him.  Note to self: if I'm ever in the position to say "Anyone can die now", don't actually say that.

I'm giving this 'can't change the past but you can change the future' thing the benefit of the doubt for now.  This could go down really well, or could be lame...

I think Daniel will stay dead.  I liked the breakdown of the electromagnetic energy build up and the numbers and Desmond pushing the button.  I think the show is setting itself up for a polarizing ending, either being mindblowing or a colossal failure.

Looking forward to the finale, but I still don't think we will find out who Jacob is until next season.

I think that this Locke killing Jacob thing is going to be stupid.  Is it just me, or did all of the characters who are in the future time change their personalities for this week's episode.

yes they did!  ha ha.  That was a pretty good finale, although it could have been shorter.  so many questions, but don't want to spoil anybody.

but we have to wait until 2010 for the final seaosn!  :(

I went into the finale with low expectations and was blown away by how good it was.  Now the infinite wait until the final season.  So many questions about what is going on.  Good vs evil.

Yup- based on last night I think I like what the writers did with Jacob and the background mythology.  Simple yet elegant, so to speak, but not trite.

The finale was a majorly two-sided affair for me.

On the one hand, I loved the 2007-events, and Jacob vs. Anti-Jacob or whatever he is. It explains a lot of things tidily and it's just a great idea. I loved how Locke ended up just being used again too. He really does have an epically tragic storyline. I don't like what Ben turned out to be. He was such a clever manipulator and cool character previously, I just don't buy how he is being obviously manipulated, and he's just acting like a child now. Anyway, this half of the story was good.

On the other hand, I hated the whole bomb thing. I like LOST's use of Time Travel on the whole. It's believable, and scientific as much as that is possible with such a metaphysical concept. But it makes no sense how detonating a bomb could change time. The writers keep on talking about course-correcting and then using this analogy of when a big enough boulder drops into the river time has to change. Which is just rubbish to me. But the worst thing was the character's decisions. Juliet and Jack willing to blow up the island and probably killing all those people just because of their love lives!! I found myself hating them for that. Sawyer was the only character that seemed sane in any way, but he went along with it too!

Really out-of-character and just plain stupid decision making. At least I won't be so eager for the hiatus to end this time...
