FWIW : Norman Thomas, the Socialist nominee for president several times in the 1930s and 40s said the following: ( Norman while a Socialist, was respected by and known as a neighbor and good friend of my Republican parents back in the day.) "The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened."

I guess it's trendy to hate PA. David Lynch has been hating on PA since the 70s.

It can be dangerous to support Mccain-Palin. A woman was robbed and then because she had a McCain bumper sticker on her car got a beating and a ' B' carved in her face. Disgusting. "He continued to kick and punch her repeatedly and said he would teach her a lesson for supporting John McCain," said police Chief Nate Harper. The man then carved the "B" into Todd's right cheek." http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/news/breaking/s_594853.html

'That politicians are in the thrall of the current owners of property is a scurrilous idea that would never occur to a person with a generous notion of human nature' -A resonably accurate paraphrase of Larry Gonick from his excellent Cartoon History of the Universe, Volume III

I was really relieved when McCain picked Palin. She is the only hope for the Libertarians. Small government is the key. And McCain's NAFTA revision, and no tax increases, sounds like the smartest idea going to fix the economy. (Did you see the Official Socialist Obama song underneath that Palin video?)

(Thomas) Mann oh Mann where is that nightowl? If only that nice prescient family friend Norman Thomas was still around !! And Hero, I watched a House of Commons session on C-Span once, this right here is polite stuff. Those guys were calling people drunken thieves and insulting people's parentage ! : ) Maybe if O does win he will appoint Sara as Secretary of Defense- She has her National Guard governing experience-and those guys and gals go to Iraq-not once a month exercises. And she knows how to handle a rifle.

Hello Redbear. Yeah, the politicians. Now they are the owners of property. And they are indeed enthralled with... themselves ;). And Mr. Booth. Well, they say Thomas Edison only slept 2 hours a night. Are you working on inventions or just an all night party animal ? * * * * Here is a post from a site that Booth turned me on to. Just like if police Chief Nate Harper in Pittsburgh can be depended upon, I'm just posting an article, so will the Obama campaign sue for libel or is it true... : ). "L.A. Times sits on video of Obama toasting radical Jew-basherBy Michelle Malkin • October 25, 2008 11:14 PM Jim Hoft has the story on the damning video of Barack Obama that the L.A. Times refuses to release. Writes Jim: “It’s hard to imagine that the LA Times would hold onto a video of Sarah Palin praising an anti-Semitic radical and former PLO operative…” Anyway check out the link to : L A Times refuses to release. My fair and balanced question is , exactly how has the video's existence been confirmed? That is key.

Inconsequential things regarding that article: The LA Times article apparently plagiarized something written by Debbie Schlussel, a woman who is intent on calling him Barack Hussein Obama, without mentioning the II at the end. He's named after his daddy, come on. Schlussel was also the one who said "freedom of religion doesn't mean freedom from religion".
